What lens adapter do i get for a jcpenney lens?
I want a nikon d60 lens adapter for my jcpenney 52mm I just got today off a friend. Google isn't helping in my search. If anyone could tell me where I can find one i'd greatly appreciate it!
We need to know the lens mount of your lens which should be stated on it. Usually as code letters, 'C' for Canon, 'P' or 'PK' for Pentax K, if it a screw thread lens mount it will probably be an M42 mount.
Nikon are the worst cameras for using other manufacturers generic lenses as the lens mount to sensor distance is the longest of all manufacturers, to this you have to add the adapter distance, this means that unless the lens is a Nikon mount you will not be able to focus on infinity. Some older lenses could focus slightly past infinity, but rarely enough to be used on a Nikon.
There are lens adaptors for Nikon with a conversion lens included, but this is more of a workaround than a cure, the adaptors are also more expensive.
