How do I set up TruTech 5810 DVD recorder? I cannot get the video; audio works.?
I'm using the standard video/audioL/audioR connections and cables (yellow/white/red). When I play a DVD, I get audio, no video. I cannot see the unit's setup menu on the TV screen, but the I do get the hello, open/close, no disc, & loading prompts on the unit itself.
Another DVD player connected the same way works fine, and an older VCR also works. The TV is a Sylvania, new this year.
Any ideas what to do? The manual is not helpful.
