What photography equipment is needed to have a backdrop ?
What exactly do you buy to keep those backdrops up and .. I don't even know if it's called a backdrop. Just those backgrounds that you can take pics of people standing or sitting or whatever it may be.. What support do you need and any extra accessories ?
Various options -
- some backgrounds are small & suitable for one or two people standing/sitting and are 'pop-up' style. They have sides made of flexible rods & you can fold them up & put them away. You just lean them against a wall.
- traditional backdrop stands consist of two light stands (or similar) with a crossbar to take a roll of paper or vinyl or a sheet of muslin
- you can DIY it with pegs, clamps, bits of plastic tubing, home made wooden or plastic frames - use whatever you have to hand, can scrounge or can make it you can't afford a backdrop stand.
