Is LS Photo Studios a good brand?
I'm looking for some indoor photo studio equipment to begin doing some more professional style photos. I came across LS Photo Studios on Ebay and they have great prices on their total kits including 3 backdrops 3 lights/umbrellas background support and tripod. I'm not familiar with that brand and I'd like to know if anyone's purchased this brand before and what they think.

Thank you. I figured it's probably too good to be true. LS's website shows the kits to be in the $400-$600 range. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet though.
All of the cheap lighting on Ebay is low quality, that will not last.
If you want to buy it to experiment and learn, not bad. But in less than a year the majority of the components will probably be broken or starting to go.
If you want a setup that will last, look at Alien Bee lights and Bogen light stands. You can pick up the cheaper soft boxes on ebay to save money.
