Yeah thats actually a pretty good deal considering you get the backdrop with stands and a 3 light kit for under $300.

But you may want to look at a flash kit. Continuous lighting is on all the time as the name infers. In an unventilated room it will get very warm. A flash kit will usually have a smaller light on continuously (modelling lamp) that will allow you to see where the shadows will fall but dont produce as much heat.

I would opt for the black/reflective umbrellas as an add on. The white ones wont reflect much so you would need to aim the lights directly at the subject(s) through the umbrella tiring their eyes and in my opinion isn't as good of lighting (for my taste).

The bulbs in this kit have the standard socket size that you are used to, so in a pinch if one of your bulbs blows and you dont have a spare "daylight balbanced" bulb you could use a standard bulb and compensate in the camera for the color change. You could still get the job done.

And get the bag too for obvious reasons.

All in all a good price. I checked this website out on the better business bureau's site and only one complaint since 2003, thats pretty good so sounds like a good company to deal with.
