Should I Use A Genuine Mobile Phone Battery?
I'm having problems with my LG KU990 mobile phone battery, which dies very quickly. The present battery is not genuine to LG.
Would a genuine battery last longer? Also, I'm not using an LG charger. Could that be a factor too?

The first problem you have is they this phone is a Viewty it is widely known to have a lot of problems but is getting a new phone isn't an option at the moment this is my view and why the battery is not lasting.
The fact that your not using an official LG charger shouldn't matter as long as the correct outputs are the same. Not having an official battery would effect the life of the battery and in some extreme cases have been know to do a lot worse.
also turning of your bluetooth and your 3G if you are not in a 3G area as both of these drain your battery.
