The previous answer with the web sites is good, but you may want to consider another alternative. If you get a multi-function card reader you can plug it into a USB port and simply insert the memory card into the reader. This is a safer and faster method for moving photos from the camera and computer, plus, if you have one or two extra memory cards, you can continue to shoot pictures without having to wait until you "empty" a full one.
The reason I say this is a safer method is because transferring photos directly from the camera relies on the camera as a power source, if the batteries become exhausted while transferring photos it is possible for the photos to become corrupted. It is usually faster because card readers have a built in cache or use computer memory to improve the processing. I can move 2~4 GB of data from one of my CF cards in less than 15 minutes, xD cards are usually a bit slower but I do not usually use any of those larger than 1GB and the readers are still much faster than using the camera. Other advantages to using card readers are 1] they use standard (less expensive) connecting cables 2] You can use many different cards types so if you have different equipment you have one common access tool 3] they are affordable and easily replaced 4] they save wear and tear on the camera and batteries.
This is just a suggestion. If you get one of these just be sure it can read the type of card your camera uses. You can usually get these at Office supply or electronics stores. SanDisk is a good quality brand for them but there are many vendors. I have a San Disk reader and a Sony reader I got to replace a no-name brand that quit after four years of use.
