I have a mini DVR camera and an iEEE link cable to transfer video to my laptop, but it doesnt work.?
My Windows XP laptop does not recognize the cable, I am not sure how to make it work/
You have a couple options here, and may need to try all of them:
1)Google a "driver download" for your specific DVR cam.
example: Google: "device driver for sony abc-1234 camera"
2)Open the menu on the camera. search for some version of "DV in/out" and make sure it it switched on.
3)Believe it or not, and I know this is stupid, but try switching the ends of the cable.
4)Try purchasing a new cable if you have a driver downloaded for the camera and the DV output is 'on' in the camera menu.
