Should I be able to see through the viewfinder of my zenit EM camera?
So I've never used the zenit EM,instead it has been just sat on the windowsill in its leather case.
Just recently I have become interested in using it.As it stands I can't see anything through the viewfinder,it is just black. My mum keeps telling me it is completley broken ....is it just the settings or something,or is the camera actually broken? should I be able to see through the viewfinder no matter what?
sorry...I don't know much about cameras at all.
Either the lens cap is on or the mirror is stuck in the up position. The first problem is easy enough to solve.... the second not so. It will require a professional service to get the mirror unstuck, and the cost may not be worth it.
