How Long must the light be red for a traffic light camera to take your picture in Ontario?
I was following someone the other day and the light just turned red and i went though it although the other side had not turned green yet. Does anyone know how long the light has to be red inorder for the traffic light camera to take your picture
The same signal that activates the red light powers up the camera.
You may or may not get a ticket - I don't know if there's any kind of time stamp on the picture which shows how long the red light has been on before the picture was snapped, but I would think that there must be a little wiggle room there.
You'll know for sure soon enough one way or the other.
