i opened the package from my digital camera, and the little cd wasn't in there!!?
the box says there is supposed to be a cd in there to download the photoshop. well, i opened the box, and there was no cd!!! so is there anyway to report this so maybe they can send me one?
You can quite probably get going without the CD whilst you are chasing it up. Nearly all new cameras will connect to Windows XP or later and work in one of two ways.
1) Mass Storage: The computer will do a little installation and will tell you your new device is ready to use. It will even most likely pop up a windows asking what you want to do. Answer "Open Folder to View Files". If this doesn't happen Open up "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista) and look for devices with removable storage. Your camera should be listed there and you can browse it like a removable hard drive.
2) PTP driver, in this case the Scanner and Camera wizard will open and you can just follow your nose to download the images to your computer.
