Magenetic Electronic Cases?
Well, I want to get a leather case for my ipod touch because when its loose in my purse i'm worried it will snap or whatever. So I found this:

But it has a MAGNEIC closure..?
Wouldn't that ruin your ipod?
Cause i was always taught not to put a camera nea magents and what not.

well, powerful magnets can have affects but usually not smalls ones.
the easiest way to explain how this shouldn't affect it is, that the 'iPhone' has which has speakers containing magnets inside it, so do all phones but due to there size and strength they have little affect on the electrical currents within the phone. but an ipod having a LCD display like all mp3players/phones, a magnet can warp the electrical currents withing the display distorting the colour(this will only happen for as long as the Marget is very close to or on the screen (presuming its the size of the small magnet in that case in the link above)) no permanent damage will be done.
honestly i think magnetic cases are stupid.
i do however doubt it will damage you ipod.
also the price it sold for is an indicator of its quality.
