I have a pretty basic green screen thats basicly a lime green cloth. It works pretty good but the problem is that the cloth is small so theres only room to fit one actor in the frame with the cloth as the background. I just use it to practice green screening right now and to get used with all the lighting and stuff like that. After the tests I have a few questions.
1.) Where the actor is there is a little green outline of him. How do I get rid of that?
1) Could be caused by shadow or blur. Make sure the camera's focus is sharp for the actor, and make sure the cloth is evenly lighted (i.e. not just a light on the actor).
2) Don't think so.
3) In most "green screen" applications the color of the cloth doesn't really matter as long as it is solid, even, and distinct from the rest of the shot (i.e. the actor shouldn't be wearing the same color tie as the sheet). So in theory a blue sheet will work just as well; but you will have to configure the greenscreen application for the proper color.
