Need C# (Sharp) Help?
Okay, I have an exam in 2 weeks and my tutor recommended that we make a application to familiarize ourself with C#. It is optional but I would like to attempt it. Can anyone please give me some tips on this? Or even some tutorials on these concepts would be helpfull.
It is basicly to make a small Photoshop application in C# which does this:
(a) Open and Save the image file and exit the application
(b) Undo some photo processing operations and clear
the image anytime.
(c) View the detailed information about the image and zoom photos
from 50% to 500% in steps of 50.
(d) Perform different colour processing operators on photos such as:
a. Apply Red, Green and Blue Filters
b. Apply Contrast and Brightness operations
c. Do a grayscale conversion or invert the image.
(e) Resize the photo, rotate and flip the photo and crop the photo
(f) Add tags to the photo such as texts or shapes or other photos.
How do I even start? Can anyone help?
Ok, you will want to make a window-based application. Most of the functionality for image processing is included in GDI+, so you may want to familiarize yourself with this. For undo/redo, just encapsulate every step in a class that subclasses a generic class providing "undo()" and "redo()" functionality (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command_pattern ). The part about pic info is probably a quick search for "EXIF GDI+" on google
