what spectrum does fluorescent light fall under continuous,absorption or emission?
It's called a line spectrum because it doesn't contain all seven colours of the spectrum but it produces an 'almost' white light.
Some fluorescent light tubes have added elements to produce the missing wavelengths so continuous spectrum fluorescent light can be made and are often used in stores where correct colour rendition is required.
