How can i take multi-exposure photographs with my digital camera?
I have a sony H2 camera
There is no way one can make a multi-exposure image with a digital camera. It is not like 35 mm film where rewinding the film one space and taking a snap will add a layered exposure.
The only way to do it that I know is to take 2 or more digital pictures just like you would take them with a 35 mm camera. Then on your computer import your pictures using photoshop, paint shop pro or any other graphic program that allows "image layering".
First, I manipulate it just like I would with a 35mm camera. Take the 2nd photo and "layer" it (copy and paste it on top of the first picture taken) over top the main image then adjust the opcaity of the layered images so the first one can be seen from underneath like a double exposed negative. Then I merge the two (or more) together as one image.
The advantage to this than over a 35mm exposure is you can change the opacity and if skilled enough, manipulate it to only certain parts of the image looks like it has a double exposure.
