can i turn a new digital video camcorder into a web cam?
i just brought a new camcorder and wanted to know if i can turn it into a webcam because i kinda figure that if i plug it into the computer it could automatically connect and stuff so is there anyway i could make it connect? help please!

If you plug it into the computer via firewire and turn it onto recording mode, it will recognise it as a webcam, yes. I'm also USB can also do the same thing.
