Film Scanner

Looking for advice on a film scanner?
I'm looking at film scanners. There are several affordable models that scan at 7200 dpi. How large could I print without noticeable loss of quality?
Does anybody have any recommendations for me?
It would help if you would say what film size you want to scan. But at any rate, please ignore the bogus high scan numbers tossed about by the scanner makers. Numbers such as 7200 are BS. It is simply resizing up a MUCH lower quality scan and the results are terrible if you actually try to scan at that high a "resolution". What matters is TRUE OPTICAL resolution. A real 4000 ppi optical scan is worlds better than any goofy interpolated 7200 ppi scan. Scanner manufacturers should be sued for conning the public with such bogus output numbers.
Now, yes the Nikon scanners are great, I have one myself, but that is because I scan 120 format film. The Nikon 9000 scanner is out of production and super expensive to buy even used. You might get lucky and find a new one somewhere, but it will be well over $2500. I have seen them as high as $4000. Then you need the glass holders for 120 film, and the holder is another $250.
The Epson Perfection scanners are about the best compromise if you want to scan both 35mm and 120 at a reasonable cost.
If you only want to scan 35mm, the Plustek Opticfilm scanners have been tested and given excellent reviews.
