my fish tank is green I have no filter is the green stuff good for the fish?
Its a ten gallon tank and i have a Bottom feeder too
You have what is called an algae bloom. It is harmful to fish. A bottom feeder is not a replacement for a filter. It produces it's own waste, so what removes the ammonia (waste) from the water? Nothing. You need a filter to keep your tank clean and your fish healthy.
