Hoya Super Hmc

It's Greek to me. I have a filter that says "Hoya HMC Super 58MM UV(0)" on the side of it. What does that mean?
It just means clear glass for front lens protection (58mm in diameter)
Hoya - company name
HMC - multi-coated (to minimize internal reflection and high contrast)
58mm - size in diamter
UV - ultraviolet lens (basically clear lens).
