I have acer laptop with window 7.How to setup PCMACIA CARD BUS for video download from camcorder?
How to use PCMACIA CARD BUS,IEEE-1394 FireWire iLink DV Cable (video download) through laptop.Is there any software necessary to set up on my laptop to download the video from my Panasonic camcorder.

Your FireWire card should have come with a driver install-CD, unless Windows 7 recognizes it automatically. Knowing which type of processor (e.g., Intel i3, or Atom, etc.) is in your Acer, and which Edition of Win7 you have (Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, etc.) can make a difference in troubleshooting any problems you might experience.
Also, have you installed any video editing software that you plan to use to edit your video with?
And listing which Panasonic camcorder you have would also be helpful (especially if you are shooting in one of the HD formats). Windows Movie Maker can handle most video import tasks from your camera, as long as you have all the latest Windows-approved "codec" packages installed.
Without knowing your Panasonic camcorder model, I can't determine if it came with a "media browser" CD to aid in transfering your video files.
