Film for Instant Cameras?!?
I really want to buy an instant camera, the two i'm looking at right now are the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7 and Polaroid's PoGo. I'm leaning towards the Fujifilm because the pictures have borders and the price is nicer. However, the thing holding me off is the price of the film. For the Fujifilm it's basically $1 a shot and that's going to add up REALLY fast.
So i was wondering, if you own one of these cameras, can you just cut regular photo paper down to the right size? or is it different since it's instant?
Also if you know of any other good brands of instant cameras or a cheap way to get the film.

Fuji Instax Mini is also known as Polaroid Mio and also just released as the Polaroid 300 (it's all the same thing really). Buy the twin 10 packs for $14 for the least expensive instant pics. The size however is about as big as a business card.
Polaroid Pogo is an even different beast. It uses paper with the ink embedded into it and requires heat to bring it out. The images have been known to fade rather quickly. Larger prints than the Mini/Mio/300 though. Uses special Zinc paper. I believe (not certain) that Polaroid quit making the film and nobody is antsy to replace it any time soon. It's that bad.
Polaroid 600 series cameras use 600 series film. About $2 a shot. http://www.the-impossible-project.com/ has just started to make some and the older stuff selling on eBay makes me shake my head. Why you'd pay $60 for a 10 shot pack is beyond me.
Fuji Instax Wide is about a buck a shot. It's normal sized. The film does NOT work in Polaroid cameras. It's about the best value that I can suggest though. Get a 200 or 100. The 210 is a 200 with a higher price tag, seriously there's no difference that most people can tell.
