im thinking of getting one for my Canon PowerShot A470 but i have never used a tripod before and this one seems to be able to do things most tripods can't, but can i trust it with my camera?
if you have used this tripod before and weren't satisfied, do you have any good suggestions for a similar tripod?

If you use it properly you should have no problems, they really do grip and can mount in the most incredible places. Just so long as you are aware that they are compact.
