I have so many bugs on my back door when the motion light goes off, lots of bugs come in when I let the dogs in, especially nasty mosquitos. I only set the motion light for 1 minute too.

I have a standard (2) bulb motion light bought at Lowes with the larger tapered bulbs but a standard "female" screw-in end. I was wondering if there are bug-resisant bulbs that look like regular motion/fog lights with the taper or bell shape.

I am trying to avoid using regular smaller house lamp bulbs because of appearance but it might be worth it either way.

Also, I would like to use the energy efficient bulbs, but with only using a 1 minute setting it's not required.
