How do I change the settings on a Nikon d90 for light photography?
I want to experiment with light painting but I don't know what settings to change into.
A step-by-step would be great. Thanks!
Manual setting shoot at a self timer on a tripod (10 sec for setup) on a shutter speed of 20 seconds (yes the D90 can do 20, 25 or 30 seconds). Your Fstop should be roughly 5.6-11 your ISO shouldn't exceed 400. Use a tripod and take off your uv filter to reduce ghosting (uv filters usually aren't ED coated)... Happy shooting
