What do I need to create a basic two umbrella studio lighting setup?
i want to create a basic two umbrella studio lighting setup.
Im using One silver umbrella as the 'main'
im using Another silver umbrella as the 'fill'
What Watt-age of light do I use on respectively ech umbrella?
Whats the difference between 'Studio Flash' and 'Fluoreseent Bulb ES'?

In studio photography the wattage of the light usually stays the same. You just move the lights closer or further away from the subject to get the proper lighting ratio (main or key light at 5' and the fill at a longer distance will get you going) Using umbrellas help soften the light, especially when shooting people. I use "hot lights" because I can see the way the light is falling on my subject better.
Studio flash is usually about three to four times the cost of studio hot lights. Fluorescent Bulb ES is a new type lighting that I have yet to use or see in any of the studios I rent. They cost almost as much as "studio flash units".
