What's a good lens for the Canon Rebel T1i?
I have the standard 15-55mm kit lens and also a EF-S 55-250, but I want to try and get either a wide angle or macro lens. I probably can't get one that's over $900 though. Do you guys have any suggestions?

A good macro lens would be a 18-80. That way you can use macro an you wont need to switch back to the 18-55. Thats what I keep on my main camera. You dont want to switch lenses enless you need to so that you dont get dust or other fibers or anything. If you do get dust in your pictures dont try to clean it your self take it to a camera shop that deals with dslr cameras. They could clean it or they can tell you how to clean it
