wich is better for artstic macro photograohy such as shooting bugs and flowers in an artistic way?
the cannon twin light or the cannon ring light
fhoto no i havent had a chance to try them out yet so im wondering if anybody has used them and what they liked better and whyy
It depends on what you are looking for. The ring light will give a very even lighting, to the point that it may "flatten" the image. The lighting is starkly uniform. The twin light gives two point sources, so there is some flash modeling that will leave some of the dimensionality of the subject in the image. You can probably find samples somewhere. Try searching Flickr for "macro + ringlight." Maybe the Canon site has some samples, too.
