What are mega pixels in a camera? Do they make the picture clearer?
My camera has 6.2 mega pixels. Is that good? If you could have 10 mega pixels or 10X optical zoom which one would you have? Which one is better? Explain the two for me?
It really comes down to what you're going to be using your camera/photography for. If you want a camera that you can take around with you and take pictures of everything, far and near and you're not interested in making any prints larger than an 8x10, then I would say go with the 10x optical zoom.
If you're going to be printing large prints from your photographs (like poster size) then I would suggest you go with the 10 megapixel camera.
