iam planning on buying one of these two lenses :1.Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO EX DG OS and AF-S VR Micro Nikkor ED?
help me to pick up one of them, i want something for general use,portrait with nice bokeh,candid,and sometimes landscape and macro shooting for my Nikon D90.i have the 18-55mm and 50mm f/1.8D,and i want something more..
please help...and thank you
You already have a good lens for portraits - the 50mm f1.8. The 70mm end of the Sigma would also be a good choice for portraits.
The only reason to buy a Micro Nikkor of any focal length is if you're into macro photography. If you're looking at the 60mm version then it too would be good for portraits.
Use the 18mm end of your 18-55mm zoom for landscapes. If you want a wider view look at the Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 lens.
