Nikon Sigma

I swear I can tell simply by looking at my photographs, the difference between Nikon and Sigma lenses, crazy ?
When I first got started, and believed I needed an f/ 2.8 lens, I bought a Sigma 28-105, maybe I'm crazy but I swear I can see the difference, wondering if anyone out there has had good results w/ an off brand lens.
I have both Sigma and Canon lenses for my 35mm and you bet I can tell which photos were taken with Sigma and which were taken with Canon. Years ago I had a Minolta system and used Minolta and Vivitar lenses (back when Vivitar made top quality lenses) and the same thing--you could tell the difference. So Nikon to Sigma--I would be surprised if you couldn't tell the difference.
