How much does the nikon d40 zoom?
I really need to know, also how much does the nikon d60 zoom? I'm talking about the lenses that come with the camera, not telescopic ones you can buy afterwards.
As Hipp said its an 18 mm to 55 mm. It used to be most film SLR came with just a 50mm lens. What you are getting now lets you go from a bit of a wide angle to a standard lens Its a good lens for many situations. Remember with the crop factor it will give you an angle of view similar a 27 to approx 87 mm lens
