What type of art would you buy?

Abstract? Scenic?? I want to sell some art , I have the skill to draw and paint things but what would people want to buy? Examples please or what you would like

I love abstracts. But what people are wanting to buy depends on where you live.
Like most people around here where I'm from want scenic art - especially if it's completely realistic.
Yet people in your area may prefer scenic art that has more of a cubism feel.

What you could do is when you visit people, take notice of the art they have, so you can get an idea of what the people in your area are looking for.

But never compromise your art for the sake of what other people want! Sure it's nice to "play the tune the crowd wants to hear", but don't let it get in the way of doing the art you really want to do!
