I have been getting into photograph with my good friend an I only have a little pentax optio 7mp.?
I want to get a digital SLR camera and I don't know what type I should buy. Anyone have suggestions?
Don't buy it if you won't learn to use all the modes and features.
The fact that you described your current camera as 7mp tells me that you think megapixels are the most important thing to look for. Wrong.
Some things you might look for: fits your hand well, has intuitive controls, low noise at high ISOs, a really rapid burst mode, bright viewfinder, renders colors faithfully, manual control of exposure for video, and feels sturdy (not made out of plastic).
