I am on a very small budget, looking for just any decent lighting I can use for a small studio in my apartment. I would like to photograph faces and also full body shots for models. Can you tell me if there is a certain cheap light i should get that does this, or just go to a store and get 2 basic 60watt light stands and put them on each side of the subject?
Also, not related, what is a good cheap light i could get for my macro close up photos? why not just use my built in flash for the macro shots?
You can get away with a cheap studio lighting kit off ebay for 300 buck... get one that has at least 600 total watts and 3 light units... you be able to get very decent results till you need bigger and better equipment
