Pol Filter
Buying new lenses for my Canon!?
I'm very new to photography, and am thinking about buying some lenses off the internet for my Canon Powershot 1 8MP camera. Online, a man is selling a 70-300 sigma macro lense, a 18-55 mm stabilized lense, and "58mm UV and 58mm cir pol. filters. " All of these things are being offered with his Canon XSI DSLR camera, that is 12.3 mp. However, I would only be buying the lenses and filters, since I already have a camera myself. He said that he would be willing to do this.
The question I have is:
Will these lenses work with my camera? I don't want to pay for them only to have them not work with my camera! Please help me, as I am new to all of this!

Your camera is a fixed lens P&S.
Those lenses are for a DSLR.
How on Earth do you think you are going to attach these lenses to your camera?.
You obviously have no clue what you are doing have you?.
