How to load film into a polaroid land camera minute maker.?
I got the film and know im lost,plese explain how 2 plese.
ive got fujifilm film that is compataable.
If this is the camera I think it is, you open the back by releasing a wire catch on the right side as you look at the back of the camera. The back swings open to the left. If there is an old film cartridge in the camera, lift up the right side of the cartridge and slide it out to the right.
Before loading the new film, make sure the rollers on the back rotate freely and are not gunked up with old chemistry. If they are dirty, clean them with a damp rag. There's no need to use anything other than a bit of water because the chemistry is soluble in water. Other solvents will just make a bigger mess and may do more harm than good.
Also load fresh AA batteries. This is an old camera, so whatever it has is probably dead. Clean the battery contacts if they need it.
Remove the film from the packing. Do NOT pull out the black tab. Slide the film pack into the camera from right to left with the paper tabs on the right and the black tab hanging outside the camera. It should slide in easily and drop into place with light pressure at most.
Close the back and secure the latch. Grasp the camera's strap-handle with your left hand and pull out the black tab, also called a dark slide, with your right hand. Pull steadily directly away from the side of the camera. It should slide out easily. After it is out, there should be a white paper tab sticking out of the right side of the camera as you look at it from the back. That's the tab you pull after making an exposure. It will pull out the tab attached to the film, which you pull out in a straight, smooth motion to get the picture out of the camera. Time it for 60 seconds, then peel it apart to reveal your photo.
these instructions are general from memory. I've never used Fuji film, but the procedure has to be the same. The paper tabs are a different color, or so I've been told.
