How do you reprogram a spare key remote for a 2003 Audi A4 B6?
I have one working remote and need to make the other remote I have working as well. The key works, just not the remote. I just put fresh batteries in both remotes as well.
If you get your owner's manual out, there should be a method in there for "setting" it to your preferences. In my A8, you can program it to move the mirrors, seat, and do the radio presets when you unlock it with the remote once you have it set up. However, how you can check to see if it's totally off is by aiming it at the car and pressing the panic button. If that doesn't work, it might be scrambled or etc. So after you check the manual for the procedure to no avail, your next step is going to be the dealer. They have a special computer.
