Can remote shutter controls, control the exposure time of the camera?
I have a Canon T1i and would like to take long exposure photos. The only shutter speeds on the camera only go up to 30sec. and then there is bulb.. Im wondering if there are any remote triggers that can allow a longer shutter time because in BULB mode the button has to be continually held down, which creates vibration and a poor picture.
Yes, many remote shutter releases have a lock for bulb exposures. Even if you don't get one with a lock, you can still hold the button the whole time without worrying about camera shake.
edit-I paid $5 on ebay for a remote shutter release with a 9 foot cord for my camera. The release can be locked.
