Is it possible to modify finder scope?
The ED80 Pro comes with a 9x50 straight through finderscope of good quality. However, it would be so much easier on my neck, if I could some how rig it to give me:
A] An upright, correct image
B] Incorporation of a diagonal
The back of the finderscope, containing the ocular and reticle, screws out revealing a nice baffling system within the OTA. The 'hole' created by removal of the back, has a diameter of 2 inches.
Is it possible to make a right angle upright correct image finderscope out of this good quality product from Skywatcher?

You may be able to buy a part to modify it. I haven't found one yet. There are finder scopes that have the items that you are looking for. Check www.telescope.com or www.telescopes.com.
