How do you connect this macro ring/exstention tube to my Nikon D60!!!!!! (link provided)?

please, tell me how, very simply, because no matter how much light i use, its very very dark
most of the time it says lens not attached
and most of the time the lens just attaches upside down ffs. what the hell, i didnt come with bloody instructions 
i will very much love anyone who helps me out here.
One of the drawbacks of buying extension tubes rather than a macro lens is loss of light.
As to it saying the lens is not attached: even on the Amazon listing it quite clearly tells you that "There is NO electronic connection between the body and the lens".
I bought the more expensive Kenko extension tubes and they DO let the lens and camera communicate - yours don't.
