Ring Nikon

I have a tamron lens with a pentax fitting. Is it possible to buy an adaptor ring so it will fit onto a nikon?
If it's a Tamron Adaptall lens, then yes you can. Look for the Adaptall fitting for Nikon for that series of lenses, remove the Pentax mount and put on the Nikon mount.
Otherwise any adapter will cost more than another lens and only give limited functions.
BDB in Luton make adaptors on order to fit almost anything to anything if the lens throat of the host camera allows it...but at a high price as one-off precision engineering mounts. You could find a Nikon FM for the same money. Mine was ...oh, I won't give you misery.....forget that one.
