Question about scenic backdrops..technical advice needed?
Hello. I was wondering when creating a background for a singing/dancing show is it better to use muted colors and soft patterns, or vibrant colors and bold patterns? I like the look of bold but don't want to distract the audience members eyes away from the performers themselves. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Try a bit of both keeping in mind not to overpower the performers. Vibrant colors and bold patterns are fine just not to much...Good luck, If all else fails always remember raw umber....that's an inside joke for Disney....
