e1505 screen replacement.?
I have a cracked screen and no warranty on my E1505 15.4 laptop. Currently i have a screen that at the highest resolution is 1680x1050. When i talked to dell there replacement was $400 for the same resolution. i asked for a cheaper one they said $200 for a 1280x720....
My question is: if i go for the 200$ screen will this look like what my screen of 1680x1050 does when set to 1280x720... Cuz i tried this on my screen (looking at parts not cracked) and the resolution looks like crap... too big and kinda longated. Will this setting by what it looks like if i got a screen with a max of 1280x720? I want to but it from ebay but want to make sure first.
No, it will make other differences like image clarity, sizes etc. However, it will not look like you are talking about. I think that you are used to your screen, and you can't accept changes in the resolution. If you still want 1680 X 1050 or even better at cheap price, check these out:
