Do you recommend 'Pec Pads' to clean CCD/CMOS?
My two camera body's are in desperate need of a sensor clean. Sensor Swabs are very expensive, they only come in a box of 12, and it normally requires two or three swabs to properly clean the sensor.
Have you ever used Pec Pads? They are much cheaper, and come in a pack of a hundred. On the net there are lots of people who claim that it works very well, but apparently it is also not recommended for the cleaning of DSLR sensors.
Can you please share some of your sensor cleaning experience and knowledge.
I do NOT ever touch your cameras sensor. Scratching the hot mirror on the sensor will cost about $350 to have repaired.
Try this first and if for some reason you cannot remove the dust, have it professionally cleaned.
