How to use a sony alpha infra remote control?
hi
I have an infra red remote control and Sony alpha a380. i am trying to couple the two and start using.
I put the dial on S and pressed remote button S , nothing happened..tried the 2S ...nothing happened..camera is very quite...am I doing something wrong or have to change battery, which is new. please advise.
The dial has nothing to do with the remote.
You have to turn on the remote sensor, if the A380 supports the remote sensor. It will be in the menu system. My Sony doesn't support the IR remote, so can't really tell you where to look. The manual is always a very good place to start!
