Local authoritiy and my sons school have the descretion not to allow the use of cameras etc into Xmas plays/ sport days In fact, same goes for locals parks in my area. YET...we are the most CCTV spied on country in the world......I want kids to be protected, but i also would like to capture my childs school years.......I cant do this.... but when my son is down the park or out on the street etc CCTV strangers can!!! What are your views on this?.What is your local authorities stance on this?...does your school allow??
It's called PARANOIA. We as a society have become so paranoid about every aspect of life.We see everyone as bad people who only meen us harm.People no longer are allowed to use COMMON SENSE.If the event wether it be a school concert where the only people attending are parents and friends of parents are attending then as long as flash isn't used (and with modern cameras this is possible ) why not.It's the same at school sports days the parents want to photograph their children enjoying themselves.We seem to lable everyone with the same tag and although there are bad people about 99% are normal loving parents who want to look back in years to come on their life( memories) not as some perverted porn flik.Like all walks of life nowadays 99% suffer for the 1%.If we carry on in this vein then it won't be too far in the future before we are living in a little cocoon and don't meet anyone just in case they are nasties and no one will have a life.We become prisoners in our own homes while the 1% are free instead of the other way round.I ain't too good at puting feelings into words so I hope everyone can partly understand what I am trying to say
