Turning my small closet into a headshot photography studio?
I am going to clean out my closet, paint it, install lights and reflectors, and make it into a little tiny studio so I can take head shots with good lighting. I just haven't decided what color to paint it. My room is light blue and white. Should I just go with white? I have no idea. And input? Thanks.
Duh it is small. I already said that. Technically, my question was "What color should I paint it?" (Well at least that is what I was meaning to ask...) Do you have any ideas?
It should be painted white, because in such a small space you're going to have light bouncing everywhere. If it's any colour other than white, then that bounced light will pick up a colour cast.
If this is just so you can mess about with headshots of yourself it'll be ok, but no way will this work commercially. It is too small. You won't be able to position lights correctly, nor will you be able to flag any light spill successfully.
