Why do educated women support Palin, a woman who would insist rape victims pay for their own "rape kit"!!!?
As mayor of Wasilla, she signed an order establishing women pay for the rape kit that tested them after they were assaulted, with a cost of $500 - $1000 per female victim. This is a practice that is rarely used anymore. Get raped and then pay again?? She stands for womens rights?
An don't blame the police chief. In a little town like Wasilla, the mayor knows all proposals or budget matters.
It is unfathomable that anyone would think that rape victims should pay for their rape kit. That cost would be a real deterrent for many women...so sad. The rich can fight it but the poor have no option. Disgusting.
