Tele Telephoto Lens

Just bought Canon S5is?
Now I would like to get some add-on to the camera. I knew what camera to buy but now I have no idea witch one are good. I found on eBay a set witch to me looks like a good deal. I like the 3X telephoto lens. I also need the filters so I can protect the camera’s lens.
Can you please tell me if this is with the buy or maybe I should spend more money? And are there different types of lenses that I can just go to the camera shop and just pick one that I like?

I'm using the camera for personal use. I go for a lot of trips and I like the 3X the telephoto. Also I will need uv and polorised filter. I know that because I saw it on ebay. other wise I don't know much.
Did you buy the camera or just pleasure or to start a photographer studio there are all kinds of filters or lenses. YOU have to know what you are going to take photos of and in what light or where. Are they about landscape. There is also lighting flash, so on don't get trap ed in buying everything. Read book on photography, learn all you can about the cameras. the ISO Speed. Learn the basic skills. Know what you what in the photo
